Ace Doran moves historic fountain
Ace Doran Hauling & Rigging transported the Tyler Davidson Fountain, an historical monument in Cincinnati, to the city’s Fountain Square following refurbishing of the fountain and reconstruction of the square. The fountain dates back to 1871.

FFE driver receives truck
One year after winning the use of a brand new Freightliner truck, FFE Transportation Services driver Clyde Williams took permanent ownership of his rig. Williams, winner of the 2005 FFE Great Truck Giveaway, was officially handed title to the truck after driving accident-free for one year.

CRST Malone driver retires after 40 years
John Hall, an owner-operator for CRST Malone for 40 years, announced his retirement. Hall began his trucking career by hauling lumber and cinder blocks in the early 1950s.

Prime drivers earns trophy
Prime Inc. driver associate Glen Horack, who has been with Prime for 10 years, finished third in the Freightliner Division in a truck competition at the Great American Trucking show in Dallas.

Marten Transport recognizes Drivers of the Month
Marten Transport honored 34 Drivers of the Month for July. Each received a check, a certificate recognizing their achievement and a gift from the company store. Qualifying drivers must meet a minimum of 10,500 miles for the month, have no accidents and 100 percent on-time deliveries.

Atlas drivers turn on technology
Atlas Van Lines operators drastically in-creased their use of advanced technology this year, according to the 2006 “King of the Road” Atlas Van Lines van operator survey. Laptop computer usage made the most significant jump.

Maverick driver earns award
Maverick Transportation presented veteran driver Dale Dunn with a 15-year Safe Driving Award. Dunn has received a variety of awards from Maverick, including Driver-of- the-Year honors and a Million Mile Safe Driving Award.
