Tri-State Motor Transit participates in truck convoy

Tri-State Motor Transit recently participated in the World’s Largest Truck Convoy, a one-day celebration that raises money for the Special Olympics. The event marked the fourth year that the company has participated. This year Tri-State received special recognition for having the highest participation in the Joplin, MO area.

USA Truck gives $20,000 prize

Donald Green, a company driver living in Springfield, IL, won the grand prize in USA Truck’s driver referral contest. Green had his choice of $20,000 or a brand new Chevrolet Silverado. He decided to opt for the $20,000. USA Truck started the contest to encourage their drivers to become familiar with the company’s driver referral program.

Maverick salutes drivers of the month

Maverick Transportation announced the following drivers of the month for the third quarter of 2006: Scott Shy (July), Chris Foster (August) and Keith Graham (September). Each driver is a leader in the company’s fleet and all have received numerous safety awards and company honors from the Arkansas-based flatbed carrier.
