I was on my way to Abbeyville, SC about 25 years ago. Approximately 20 miles south of Memphis, I lost two trailer wheels. I watched one of them roll right in front of me. I pulled over and went back to look for the second one when a state trooper pulled up, shined his flashlight on me and asked, “What are you doing out here in the woods?” I told him my story, and he helped me look for the other wheel (which we never did find). more

Driven Women
I was recently contacted by a national television producer of a morning show to profile a few women who have turned their lives around by pursuing a trucking career. Within four hours of sending out an APB to all of our advertisers for women truckers with a great story to tell, I received hundreds of phone calls and emails from carriers around the country. To me, the response from our advertisers was as rewarding as the call from the television producer.more

Trucker Buddy
Ben Robinson is great at remembering birthdays. Not only does he remember his own grown children’s birthdays, he also sends cards and five-dollar bills to each of the children in his Trucker Buddy class at New Hope Christian Academy in Memphis. more
