National Carriers Announces Increases
Liberal, Kansas – National Carriers, Inc., announces increases to $ .88 per mile for its 48 state mileage contract, and $ .90 per mile for its regional mileage contract.
Effective June 27, 2005, National Carriers Inc, a diversified transportation company, will implement significant increases in compensation per mile to its independent contractors in the temperature controlled 48 state and regional fleets. Included in the total compensation is incentive pay for those drivers who are safe and comply with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Richard Rees, president of NCI states, “We are pleased to offer this increase to our contractors, particularly in view of the increased expenses faced by all truck drivers in today’s marketplace. We are grateful to these men and women for their loyalty to their profession and to the company. The Elite Fleet ® has a history of outstanding on-time performance, a reflection of the committed operators and employees we have managing the service processes at our company”.
NCI business demand remains strong, and the company desires to attract additional operators with specific performance records and work histories. The company has been an owner operator fleet since inception and continues to recruit Owner Operators, Lease Purchase candidates and Fleet Drivers in order to satisfy the growth plans of the company.
NCI provides service in: temperature controlled truckload operations, the transportation of livestock, logistics, expedited/guaranteed product delivery service, tractor lease financing, and general tractor and trailer maintenance. The company operates in the 48 states and portions of Canada.
