Driver John Tarr Wins ACT Referral Prize

John Tarr, a lease operator for American Central Transport (ACT), recently won a $500 Cabela’s ® gift certificate thanks to the company’s referral program. After 12 referred drivers completed orientation, a drawing determined that Tarr was the winner of the first in a series of prizes.

When Tarr learned that he had won the gift certificate, he was a bit surprised by the results. “I am not a real lucky person. There’s a first time for everything, I guess,” said Tarr.

Tarr referred four drivers to ACT, giving him four entries in the drawing to win a prize. An avid fly fisherman, Tarr knew what he would do if he was lucky enough to win, and he did just that. On his day off, Tarr used a portion of his certificate to purchase a new fly fishing rod.

ACT’s referral program has only just begun. A Dell Ô 30” LCD TV with DVD player, a $3,000 vacation package and a 2005 Yamaha ® Kodiak Ô 400 automatic 4x4 round out the list of prizes. After 24, 36 and 50 referred drivers complete orientation, the remaining prizes will be awarded through separate drawings. Tarr’s name will remain in the drawing for the drivers he has referred and he’ll continue to be eligible to refer more drivers to ACT. Tarr hopes that Lady Luck will be with him again.

In addition to these exciting prizes, for each driver referred to ACT, the referring driver receives a .02 cpm pay increase for the next six months. (Provided that you and your referred drivers are employed by or leased to ACT.) Teams count as one driver for this promotion.

ACT has a professional driving career and endless opportunities waiting for you. Call 800-428-5228 or visit www.americancentral.com for more information.
