ACT Driver Ralph Spegal Wins Referral Prize

 

Ralph Spegal, a company driver with American Central Transport (ACT), recently won a $3,000 vacation package in conjunction with the company’s referral program. After 36 referred drivers completed orientation, a drawing determined that Spegalwas the winner of the third in a series of prizes.

Spegal was “totally surprised” when he was told that he was the winner. “Other drivers had more referrals than I did. I guess it was a lucky draw for me,” he said.

While Spegal hasn’t decided if he will take a vacation or the cash value, he is excited about the prize. “This is a good company to work for. They reward you very well,” he said. Spegal has logged over 2.5 million miles in his 31-year career as a truck driver and is six months away from retirement. He may use the vacation to kick off his retirement.

ACT’s referral program isn’t over yet. After 50 referred drivers complete orientation, one lucky driver will win the grand prize, a 2005 Yamaha ® Kodiak Ô 400 automatic 4x4. Spegal’s name will remain in the drawing for the drivers he has referred and he’ll continue to be eligible to refer more drivers to ACT.

In addition to exciting prizes, referring drivers receive a six-month .02 cpm pay increase for each driver referred to ACT. (Provided that the referring and referred drivers are employed by or leased to ACT). Teams count as one driver for this promotion.
