In an effort to recruit some of the best drivers in the industry and offer additional support to their customer base, Maverick Transportation recently announced an expanded hiring area. “We will now be recruiting from and hiring throughout the majority of the state of Iowa, along with expansion into parts of Eastern Nebraska, Southeastern Minnesota, and Southwestern Wisconsin,” said Recruiting Manager Brad Vaughn.

Flatbed drivers in the these areas will be part of Maverick’s US hiring area and can expect starting pay of $.39 to $.40 cents per mile along with unparalleled benefits like weekend home time, per diem pay, tarp pay, detention pay, quarterly fuel bonus opportunities, referral bonuses, and complete medical benefits. “Drivers in these new areas can expect to average over $52,500 their first year as a Maverick driver,” added Vaughn.
