CFI Announces Drivers of the Year for 2005

 

Joplin, MO --- CFI, an international truckload carrier based in Joplin , Missouri , is pleased toannounce its drivers of the year. Each driver that was honored as a driver of the month during the year 2005 was an automatic nominee for driver of the year in his or her respective category. A resolution from the Missouri State House of Representatives and a cash prize, among other prizes, were presented to each winner. The annual winners are as follows:

  • Richard Norman achieved company driver of the year. Norman uses the handle “Redneck” and joined CFI in 1994. He lives in Lancaster , Texas
  • Marvin Peck was awarded the contractor driver of the year. He lives in Bartlesville , Oklahoma , and uses the handle “Giddy Up Go.” Peck joined the CFI team in 1984 and again in 2004.
  • Mark and Peggy Dahlberg were named the company team of the year. Mark and Peggy both began driving for CFI in 2002. Together, they have driven over 935,000 miles with CFI. They reside in Neosho , Missouri .
  • John and Sharon Dillinger were awarded the contractor team of the year. John and Sherri both began driving for CFI in 1999. They use the handles “Tailwind” and “Chigger” and live in Grove, Oklahoma .
