New Service Offering Validated Cold-Chain Logistics Provides Assured Temperature-Controlled Transit for Pharmaceuticals and Other Constant-Temperature Shipments
SEVILLE, Ohio – Panther II Transportation, Inc., leading provider of time-critical transportation services, has created the Panther Elite Services team to deliver specialized transportation solutions to its customers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

As part of its Elite Services offerings, Panther II is introducing validated cold-chain relocation service. This service provides companies with assurance that their loads have been transported under strict temperature control. Panther Elite Services’ special equipment is rigorously tested to ensure that it can sustain constant temperatures ranging from 10˚ to 80˚ Fahrenheit, and sophisticated monitoring technology undergirds the quality oversight process.
Panther II is a leading provider of premium expedited truckload and air charter services for the delivery of time-critical freight throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. It provides on-demand pickup and delivery service and operates around-the-clock throughout the year.
Panther II’s Elite Services offerings include temperature-controlled, air-ride and lift-gate vehicles. The group provides van line rescue and transportation protective services as well as special moving equipment. Panther Elite Services complements Panther II’s existing Expedited Truckload and Air Charter services.
Temperature-controlled vehicles are used to ship a wide range of items that need to be kept at a constant temperature. The service is especially important in the pharmaceutical industry for the transportation of medicine and drugs. Besides pharmaceuticals, other markets for validated temperature-controlled transportation include chemicals, industrial gases and even artwork.
Forming the backbone of Panther Elite Services’ temperature-controlled service offering are thermal-mapped vehicles equipped with thermo-probe temperature recording devices, which provide a printed transit record upon delivery for both tethered and untethered trailers. Additionally, trailers are equipped with door sensors to verify shipment integrity. All trucks are equipped with “panic” buttons, and Elite Services drivers carry remote “panic” buttons to allow them to summon help immediately in case of emergency.
“Panther II has assigned its most experienced staff members to the Elite Services team and has invested in extensive training to guarantee they can handle the most specialized shipments,” Sokolowski said.
The suite of Panther Elite Services includes emergency air charter movement of material weighing up to 250,000 pounds; air-ride vans to ensure smooth transportation of sensitive cargo such as electronics and robotics; and trucks with lift-gate platforms available in varying lengths to meet customers’ diverse needs.
Additionally, Panther Elite Services offers Transportation Protective Services, including security escort vehicle service, dual-driver protection service, constant-surveillance service and Qualcomm satellite tracking.
