Dart Transit Company announces Contractors of the Month

 Eagan, Minnesota – Dart Transit Company announces its June 2006 Contractors of the Month: Post Witt of the Dallas Operating Center and Walt Bray of the Eagan Operating Center. Contractors of the Month are recognized for their on-time performance, dependability, and safety record.

This is the second time Post Witt from Stillwater, Oklahoma, was named Dart Contractor of the Month. He also received the award in November 2003. Witt has contracted with Dart for half of his ten years in the trucking industry. He owns and operates a 2003 Freightliner with a Dart “National” contract.

Witt has received several Dart Safety Awards. “I really appreciate everything Dart does,” he said. “It takes good communication for everything to run smoothly. Dart is one of the most owner operator-friendly companies in the industry.”

Walt Bray from Pickard, Indiana, has contracted with Dart since 1989. Bray owns and operates a 1995 International in Dart’s Northern Region. In 2004, he received the National Safety Council’s Two Million Mile Award for driving more than two million accident-free miles.

Bray has also received several Dart Safety Awards including Dart’s Hall of Fame and President’s Award. Bray said it was an honor to be recognized as Contractor of the Month. “Dart’s been good to me,” he said. “The people at Dart have always been there to help me when I need it.”

Dart Contractors of the Month receive certificates and gifts from Dart’s “Pro Shop.” Dart Contractors of the Year are selected from its Contractors of the Month.
