Dart Transit Company announces Contractors of the Month

 

Eagan , Minnesota – Dart Transit Company announces its July 2006 Contractors of the Month: Juan Garcia of the Dallas Operating Center and Jeff Dahlgren of the Eagan Operating Center. Contractors of the Month are recognized for their on-time performance, dependability, and safety record.

Juan Garcia from San Antonio, Texas, has been in the trucking industry since 1995, and contracted with Dart in 2003. Garcia owns and operates a 1999 Freightliner in Dart’s “Super South” Region.

 

Garcia said it is an honor to be Contractor of the Month. “I find it so great. Dart is a great company. I think I’m going to retire with Dart.”

 

Jeff Dahlgren from Duluth, Minnesota, has contracted with Dart for 10 years. Dahlgren owns and operates a 2003 Mack in one of Dart’s dedicated options. Dahlgren has also received several Dart Safety Awards including Dart’s Hall of Fame and Safety Ring.

 

“After high school I was looking at getting an office job,” Dahlgren recalled. “Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would be a truck driver. But I always wanted to be my own boss.”

 

Dart Contractors of the Month receive certificates and gifts from Dart’s “Pro Shop.” Dart Contractors of the Year are selected from its Contractors of the Month.
