Paul Bohr Selected as South Sioux City Driver of the Year

SOUTH SIOUX CITY (NE) – Hirschbach Motor Lines has selected Paul Bohr as the 2007 Driver of the Year from the South Sioux City, NE terminal.  The Sioux Falls, SD native started with Hirschbach on November 6, 1989.

“Paul has consistently demonstrated his professionalism and ability to get the job done, on time, every time.  Paul quietly goes about the business of serving our customer and acting as one of our ambassadors on wheels, and is always courteous and helpful,” said Driver Manager Dan Trudell.

Paul enjoys the trucking experience at Hirschbach, and has come to view Hirschbach as part of his family.  He really enjoys the opportunity to see the country, and the steady diet of something new just about every day.  He likes how trucks have been steadily improving in drivability, serviceability, and comfort.  He sees many challenges facing professional truck drivers, including government regulations, increased liability, increasing motor traffic coupled with a deteriorating transportation infrastructure, and finding healthy food that is readily and affordably available.
